Artist Statement- The urban landscape is a living, breathing canvas—its textures, patterns, and fleeting moments often overlooked in the rush of daily life. Through my photography, I seek to capture the unnoticed, the beauty hidden in the mundane. Cracked pavement, worn facades, scattered reflections—these details tell the story of the city in ways that words cannot.
Color plays a vital role in my work. I amplify and enhance the vibrancy of the urban world, bringing out the bold hues and unexpected palettes that might otherwise fade into the background. The result is a heightened, almost dreamlike vision of the everyday.
Using sublimation printing, I transfer my edited images onto satin fabric, creating a tactile experience that transforms the traditional photographic medium. The softness of the material contrasts with the grit of my subject matter, inviting viewers to engage with the work beyond just sight.
This exhibition is a personal collection—images that have captured my attention and continue to hold it. A glimpse into my perspective, an invitation to pause, and a reminder that there is always something extraordinary in the ordinary, if we take the time to see it.
